The world is broken and can only be mended as you fulfill your calling in Christ. Change the world with us by serving 10 hours a week as a student intern.
The CoPassion Student Internship is similar to a kind of missionary experience on your university campus with an emphasis on growing spiritually and professionally at the same time. You will learn how to connect your faith to your field of study and how to pursue your passion without losing your faith.
Each semester you participate prepares you more and provides a pay increase as you pursue God's vision for your life. Read more.
Pay: Starts at $10 an hr / 10 hrs per week, increases each semester with options to adjust hours for internship requirements of your college.
Expectation: Live in an abiding love relationship with Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit. Expectation to walk closely with Jesus in daily life.
Three Part Development:
Meet weekly with CoPassion staff to go deeper and discuss spiritual and professional growth specific to you. Through life changing material on identity in Christ, spiritual gifts, assessments and etc., you will grow deeper in how you walk with God, work and witness.
Outreach activities include inviting your connections and new students through social media, surveys and announcements at various places. (eg. student clubs, fraternities, sororities, campus ministries and churches). Over each semester's internship you will learn how to reach others with the gospel and develop a plan for ministry you can use for life utilizing our discipleship map.
What does the internship cost CoPassion?
$2,400 is the cost to the run the program for each intern. CoPassion is a not for profit campus ministry and does not have central funding to cover costs for the internship. We request individuals to scholarship your internship. We provide a beautifully designed platform to easily request scholarship through your connections if needed. Scholarships are available for first semester interns by request.
