In partnership with CoPassion the goal of this enhanced internship/entry-level is for the intern to grow spiritually and professionally in the field of business. While assigned at Legacy engineering for their internship/entry-level experience, the participant will go through a 12 week journey to help them walk closer with God and discover their unique calling.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE – This Role:
- Assist Team in research of new and upcoming development projects
- Reach out to new clients via email, phone call, social media, or any other necessary medium (Cold Calling)
- Schedules meetings with existing and potential clients for the purpose of introducing or reminding clients of the firm’s capabilities
- Assist in preparation for client meetings – presentations, presentation folders, team lists, etc. • Respond promptly to new inquiries while managing existing accounts
- Create and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Work with team leaders on the preparation and execution of client development plans and programs. Also assist team leaders with obtaining long-term contracts.
- Attend/Assist evening networking events, conferences, golf tournaments, etc. (when needed) • Assists with organization and execution of promotional activities and programs at networking events or other professional events.
o Utilizes the contacts in appropriate professional organizations to network with potential clients and to develop intelligence regarding the firm’s competition.
- Reach out to existing clients on a scheduled basis to ensure we continue to do their work • Ensure all contacts are entered into the CRM and any follow-up needs are assigned to the appropriate individual
- Develops and uses internal Legacy contacts to generate client leads and provide new projects from past, existing, and future clients.
- Collaborates with others in corporate roles to coordinate client and project pursuits. • Searching appropriate job posting boards to find and propose upcoming work. • Research FDOT leads, bid lists, and awards
- Research bid lists on current proposal requests
- Responsible for preparation or oversight of proposals and cost estimates
o Ensure all proposals are completed and delivered by the deadline
- Assist with Request for Qualification/Proposal – RFQ/RFP preparation and outreach • Create and deliver proposals
- Maintain and update pending proposal and leads list reports in the database • Maintain filing of submitted proposals and sales department files
- Track proposal due dates
- Work with the mindset to meet or exceed department growth expectations
- Conduct regular meetings with and provides weekly updates to team leaders to strategize, discuss and present progress in sales.
- Utilizes the available business intelligence tools to seek the opportunities that present the highest chances for success.
- Performs other duties as assigned by your team leader.
