A Frontline Technician will work within our Emergency Services (Mitigation) Department. The Frontline Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide technician service the mitigation business, department, and staff.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Service flood, fire, and mold remediation projects

• Obtain IICRC WRT Certification within six months of employment (via company provided education program)

• Meet or exceed scored benchmarks within formal review process at 30-day, 60-day, 90-day, six-month, nine-month, and 12-month periods

• Participate in daily/weekly company meetings

• Participate in rotation of On-Call Schedule for Emergency Service

• Operate power equipment and tools safely

• Work above ground level safely (ladder work sometimes required)

• Responsible for Resource Management of the following:

o Movement, care, and inventory of equipment in the warehouse and on jobsites

o Tracking of assets (equipment/tools)

o Vehicle Maintenance

• Complete digital forms and/or field paperwork for Mitigation and/or Remediation losses with 95% accuracy rating within each review period.

• Review estimates and/or protocols written by production manager, indoor environmental professionals, and/or insurance adjusters, or the like

• Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters/carriers

• Maintain and create good relationship with insurance adjusters/carriers and vendors

• Deliver excellent customer service and minimize/eliminate any customer

complaints/negative reviews

• Manage and exceed expectations for job profitability

• Understand mathematical formulas associated with equipment usage/drop size based on job size

• Collection of payment and/or deductibles, delivery of same to office

management/production manager

• Monitor and address safety issues and ensure employment of all OSHA safety practices including use of proper PPE at all applicable times

• Follow the ATR Mission, Vision, & Values, and The 10 Service Basics

• Basic marketing/sales/customer relation development of the company’s services to current and potential client base, insurance carriers, and industry professionals

• Attend industry related trainings

• MAXIMIZE PROFITABILITY while operating within the confines of the Company’s mission, vision, and values.


Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Thorough understanding of mathematics through high school level Algebra I

• Ability to operate hand and/or power tools safely

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame

• Ability to pass and maintain a Valid Driver’s license and MVR check

• Ability to pass and maintain a Criminal Background Check and mandated PA State Background Checks
