Job Description

Advantage Design Group is looking for a Software Support Specialist with excellent customer service skills, technical knowledge and a problem-solving attitude. We want to provide our customers with superb care and effective solutions using our proprietary software system. While this is a technical role, we support our customers through telephone, internet, email, and periodic virtual meetings.

The successful candidate will be able to prioritize multiple projects and provide quality work within established production timelines. Exposure to new and emerging technologies, a friendly, relaxed environment, and the flexibility to contribute new ideas and implement new technologies is our standard.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer calls for customers needing assistance with technical problems and/or concerns with websites and software
  • Troubleshoot websites and software to identify errors, make the necessary modifications or assign tasks to designers or developers to address customer issues
  • Train customers as needed in the use of proprietary software via WebEx or written instructions
  • Communicate with customers, fellow employees, and/or vendors to resolve issues
  • Document all communication with customers in our database
  • Consult with staff and management to establish requirements for modifications
  • Maintain SOP’s for all assignments
  • Develop training materials and procedures
  • Help test existing and new software programs to ensure programs work efficiently
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and needed


  • 3+ years relevant experience in training/project management/client services
  • A solid comfort level with new technology platforms and the ability to converse with clients
  • Website CMS experience required
  • Proven project management track record and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Tremendous attention to detail


  • familiarity with SSL
