Learn how to grow into a leader through TLC's management trainee internship. Description Make the world beautiful by joining with  TLC Total Lawn Care  commercial lawn care team. Spend time with owner Jim Hawkinson in monthly one on one meetings as you discover what management is all about and what steps are necessary to be an effective leader in the workplace. From labor, foreman, supervisor to CEO, gain an experience of a lifetime that you can take with you in whatever you do or wherever you go. Responsibilities Join up with a crew 10-24 hours per week depending on availability Get outside and get your hands dirty Learn a specific skill or function of lawn care and landscaping Over the course of your internship identify a problem that should be solved and how to solve it Interview co-workers, foremen, supervisors and the CEO on what makes the business work and what each level of leadership is required to do to make the business grow. Make weekly observations and report to Jim Hawkinson, the owner on issues you see that could be improved in the business and suggestions on how you would go about making those changes.
